More "Politics of Grievance" from the SNP on the "Vow" and "Triggers" shown to be utter rubbish.

Of course none of us by now should be surprised that the SNP, because they are so bereft of coherent policies on real issues  that  actually benefit Scotland that they just continue to make things up to try to continue to  attempt to drive further division within the population without offering anything positive or achievable for them.

Spreading the pitiful "Politics of Grievance" is a cheap option , something where you don't actually have to be able to show that you have made a positive difference or show your goals to improve Scottish lives but a method of only continuing to blame others for your very own lack of ideas and failures in policy that the nation simply doesn't want, has very clearly already voted on and rejected.

The SNP latest triggers are merely "excuses" made up to allow for not calling another Indy Referendum in the near to medium term but yet allowing the SNP to try to escape criticism for this by attempting to suggest that by waiting for one or more of the triggers to be broken would somehow give it a greater chance of winning a second Independence Referendum which is highly unlikely. The majority of the Scottish electorate rejected the SNP Independence Plan on the wholly ridiculous financial predictions made made on the back of Oil riches by SNP's seniors that were simply unrealistic made up ridiculous fantasy. Since those predictions published on the Independence Manifesto the fall in Oil price and the increasing costs of operating in the North Sea have made Oil Tax revenues received shrink to the lowest levels in decades, the result of this means the Scottish Government spending budget is now around £9 billion in deficit and likely to stay at this level for many years unless there is  very quick turn around in the Oil price and this is also sustained for some time. The SNP refuses to say how it would fill this spending deficit if it took on either "Full Fiscal Responsibility" or full "Independence" as it would most likely mean high Tax rises and even much greater spending cuts to services and also welfare support than the Tories have ever inflicted on Scotland.
The purpose of the "triggers" are merely an attempt to stem potential falling SNP support for not pursuing a second Indyref campaign immediately (as demanded by followers) as well as an effort to try to use them to encourage voters to continue to vote SNP again in the forthcoming Holyrood elections to keep them in power for another 5 year session in their well paid jobs. If they don't succeed then much of the Independence arguement will be much diminished so regardless of the financial situation the SNP has to try to feed supporters with hope to keep the SNP train rolling along. Any sign the SNP are not actually pursuing Independence will see members leaving in droves.

Watch Andrew Neil taking bumbling Stewart Hosie apart here trying to explain how a set of SNP invented "triggers of grievance" supposedly could allow the SNP to try to call another second Independence Referendum. What can be is clearly seen here is that few of them (if any) actually demonstrate any real substance, as polls and data already in existence show that Scots already more or less agree with their English counterparts on many of them.  Click here for the video clip.

Another "invented" SNP grievance is the one that somehow that the "Vow" made during Indyref is now being broken where once yet again on the viewable video Stewart Hosie cannot produce any item at all that was published on the actual vow that hasn't been met but merely tries to include other completely separate soundbites said by ministers at the time and tries to include them into the Vow hmself. This is another commonly used SNP tactic to brainwash its followers, take several different pieces of data or issues and join them into one for your own propaganda ends.
Hardly honest is it ? Why are SNP followers so easily fooled ?
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The SNP's deliberate method of trying to spread division and grievance in the nation is a very visible  widespread internal policy demonstrated clearly again in another excellent written blog on the rubbish the SNP are spouting about the vow being broken ...yet when any official in the SNP is asked what has been broken, not one  of them can list anything that actually has.

SNP MP Martyn Day's quote in the text on the blog clearly shows the same SNP plan to sow division alone as being one of the SNP's main tools in campaigning for its own success. What it does in fact show is that the SNP actually have little to offer other than misrepresentation and the flawed promise that Independence would be a good thing for Scotland. (Yet they refuse to explain  how the £9bn and rising spending deficit will be funded. (Unwanted large Tax rises and even more Welfare and support spending cuts for the Scottish Public perhaps that the Tories ever inflicted ?)

SNP leaving Scotland without any Power Stations ? Beyond Belief !!!

Why hasn't this issue  made much bigger news in the National conciousness and  caused outrage in Scotland (especially with Nationalists ) considering that its shows another major SNP policy failure in not having a strong varied energy plan beyond more Wind Farms that don't actually provide any energy when the wind does not blow, this means that in the not too distant future after Nuclear stations Torness and Hunterston close we in Scotland will have have to rely on imported energy from England for our own energy needs simply due to lack of intervention or a coherent Energy Policy from the SNP led Scottish Government ... hardly the measure of a "Strong Independent Country " is it ? The full text also gives details of a host of promises made by Alex Salmond relating to Scotland's power systems that have never come to fruition.
SNP stronger for Scotland ? Don't make me laugh. Typical SNP Deceipt and Duplicity.
All SNP voters , friends and aquaintances should be asking themselves how on earth an SNP energy policy that will require's our own Electricity supply needs to be imported from England can honestly be  acceptable ? The SNP have sold Scotlands Power Stations and Scotlands Power workers down the river and I hope people in those Working communities wake up and hold them responsible for it at the Ballot box. This is not Westminsters fault at all , the whole blame  lies firmly and steadfastly with the SNP's failure to have provided a realistic Electricity supply policy and hold Iberdola to account. Yet its only excuse it to try to blame Westminster...pitiful !!
=======================================================================
Power giant soaks up subsidy but cuts and runs at first sight of costs, with SNP connivance, writes Brian Wilson
I am not easily shocked these days and outrage should be saved for special occasions. However, the sound of Fergus Ewing, energy minister at Holyrood, on radio was enough to awaken…well, shock and outrage.
Consider the scenario. A multinational company which bought into a great Scottish industry has betrayed its promises, is about to prematurely close one plant with the loss of 270 quality jobs and renege on construction of another, thereby turning Scotland into a large-scale importer of a commodity of which it has long been a substantial exporter.
I can think of no previous occasion on which, in such circumstances, a Scottish minister of any political colour would not be fighting to reverse these decisions; using the levers of government to achieve that outcome; and would be taking to the airwaves only in order to challenge the morality and legitimacy of what was being done......... "

" A large part of Iberdrola’s UK customer base is in the north-west of England and north Wales, as a result of Scottish Power having bought Manweb in 1995. They also have extensive generation interests in these areas – and therein lies another aspect of this sorry tale. Iberdrola are investing in the Western Link sub-sea cable between Hunterston and Holyhead. For Scottish consumption, this was presented as a means of exporting Scottish renewables.
For other audiences, the story is reversed. The Western Link will be capable of importing 3.9 gigawatts of power into Scotland, equating to 70 per cent of maximum winter demand. With Longannet and Cockenzie closed, not to mention Hunterston and Torness thereafter, Scotland will become massively dependent on electricity produced in England from coal, gas and nuclear power. What a triumph for Scottish Nationalism.

Brian Wilson closes with the statement . ".....workers in Fife and East Lothian, along with the wider Scottish economic interest, are being sacrificed in return for yet another bogus point of grievance, while Iberdrola laugh all the way to the bank.
What’s Spanish for: “What a bunch of patsies”?
====================================================================
Nicola Sturgeon side-lined her own energy experts while drawing up plans to keep Scotland’s lights on.
Mr Wilson, who is a director of the Options for Scotland, said “words fail me” over the Scottish Government’s approach to the SEAB.“Why did it prepare an energy strategy without taking advice from its own body? There is a dangerous vacuum here and no sign that the Government is concerned about security of power supply in Scotland. This should be its first priority."                                                                                                  Just another example of Sturgeon failing to be "Better for Scotland" and making her own flawed decisions without consulting Scottish Governments own experts.

Warning Scotland will have to import energy from England

SCOTLAND will become dependent on energy imported from England unless it can move away from "emotional and politically motivated" rows over wind farms, nuclear power and fracking, one of the country's leading engineers has warned.

As the Scottish People should be well used to by now .....rather than taking full due responsibility for this happening themselves the SNP are trying to make the most of yet another invented point of grievance by blaming the UK Government's Carbon policy connection charges to the Grid for the closure of Longannet.
However this is simply another big lie because the SNP is clearly recorded as stating that after the last General Election it would press the UK to adopt even stricter SNP Climate change policy targets than the RUK actually has itself so once again can seen to be merely trying to pass the blame for its very own failures in Government.
Worst of all is the ridiculous situation where this failure actually means that Scotland in the future will actually be reliant on importing Electricity from England at the same time as the SNP continues to try engineer its own maniputive clandestine escape from what it likes to call the "emperial powers" that it will actually have to rely on for its own energy supplies due to its own incompetant failures in Government ....don't Nationalist voters have anything so say on that or does the SNP Cults following now merely bow and acquiesce to their SNP false idols ?
Perhaps the Proclaimers need to re-write the words " Longannet No More, Cockenzie No more" into the lyrics of "Letter from America " before SNP voters start to wake up to how the SNP are directly to blame for killing off once proud Scottish Industrial Infrastructure through its acquiescence to "Big Business" ?

SEE this LINK for the truth of SNP's own statement on how it wanted the RUK government to adopt the SNP's OWN  more stringent Powers Station destroying Carbon targets.
http://www.businessgreen.com/bg/news/2404798/snp-would-press-uk-to-adopt-scotlands-carbon-targets
The UK could adopt a new set of climate targets in line with Scotland's current emissions and clean energy goals targets, if the SNP holds the balance of power during the next parliament.
The nationalist party today published its manifesto, which promises to use its influence on a future UK government to ensure the rest of the country matches and supports Scotland's goal of cutting CO2 emissions 42 per cent on 1990 levels by the end of the decade, en route to an 80 per cent reduction by 2050.  The loss of Longannet and no promised replacement for Cockenzie is the fault of the SNP and the SNP alone.
====================================================================
How the SNP's Green Policies Sealed Longannets fate : In a brazen-necked performance in the Scottish Parliament, SNP Energy Minister Fergus Ewing (pictured) told us that the closure was principally due to National Grid’s transmission charging regime, which penalised Scottish producers.... ========================================================================
SNP’s hypocrisy on Longannet closure ‘shameless’. "Scotland’s energy minister has been criticised for his “hypocrisy” over why the Longannet power station in Fife is set to close.
“It was utterly predictable that the SNP would rush to blame Westminster for the closure of a Scottish power station.
“But the fact is the high transmission costs the Scottish Government are citing are partly driven by its own obsession for expensive and unreliable wind energy. See.....

The SNP of course also campaigned as being "Anti-Fracking" in the Independence Referendum whilst at the very same time behind the Scottish Nations backs was telling the Big companies involved it wasn't actually against Fracking at all.
"The Scottish Government has given assurances that it is "not against fracking", according to the boss of a firm which runs Scotland's largest petrochemical plant."
See the full story here :
http://news.stv.tv/stirling-central/1324755-ineos-chief-scottish-government-is-not-against-fracking/

The SNP were also negiotiating behind the Nations backs with the Company (Cluff Resources) behind another potentially dangerous and unproven energy plan ...Coal Bed Gasification which involves setting fire to the underground Coal beds under the River Forth area with unknown and untested consequences . http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/news/politics/environmentalists-warn-scottish-government-being-6161282

While a "moratorum" has been put in place for Fracking in the meantime due to the Political backlashes and fallout of being seen to have been double dealing by the SNP, a moratorium is only a temporary postphonement NOT a permanent ban in place yet at all.

When are voters going to wake up to the fact the SNP hasn't been honest and upfront with its energy planning by going against obvious widespread Public opinion and having discussions on these projects with "Big Business" behind the Nations backs ?

A special reminder of the SNP's deliberate gross over estimates of the future Oil price and revenues on the Indy Ref Manifesto designed to manipulate the will of a proud nation

Today (18th Sept 2015) is the 1st Anniversary of the Scottish Independence Referendum Vote ..a Vote which the SNP seems to have very quickly forgotten that it actually lost !!           (make beleive or what ?)

The SNP not only seem's to have forgotten that they lost the actual vote , they also have decided to completely ignore the fact of and have never apologised to the Nation for deliberately grossly over-estimating both the future price of a barrel of Oil  and also deliberately grossly over-estimating the potential future incoming Oil Revenue's (via taxation) into Scottish Government coffer's purely in order to dishonestly secure a win of the SNP's own idealogy driven Independence Referendum on deliberate false manipulation of Scottish Office Government genuine and openly published financial GERS data.
Is this what the Scots nation  really expects from a (supposedly responsible) Political Party in charge of and holding office to the nations infrastructure and finances ?
(make beleive or what ?)

Are these truly the actions of a "responsible Scottish Government" ?
(make beleive or what ?)

The SNP themselves have so quickly chosen to ignore and forget their own  deliberate fabrications that they themselves decided to publish in their own "Independendence Manifesto" document called "Scotlands Future" that they have seem to have forgotten putting this item into  it at all too !!!
(make beleive or what ?)  (click on the small text box at RHS bottom to enlarge it)

The SNP having forgotten all these falsifications and instructions of their own making have now also forgotten all about most of the SNP seniors saying that the past Independence Vote last 18th of  September 2014 was to be "Generational"  and now want to have a second Independence Referendum when they "feel like it" for a second time, thus forgetting that they also agreed to accept the Sovereign Will of the Nation when they agreed the date of the first Referendum. The SNP have also forgotten what they actually agreed was a "Referendum"  rather than a "Neverendum" where they just keep on holding vote after vote until they get the answer that they themselves want...only then it appears they will finally accept the Sovereign Will of the Nation. Why are they being allowed to get away with this when the actual Sovereign Will of the Nation  was already returned  very cleary as a  "NO" vote last 18 September 2014  ?    The evidence clearly demonstrates that the SNP simply DO NOT beleive in Democracy and think they have a God given right to ignore the result of a democratic vote result made by the nation. A Manipulative and Secretive authoritarian political party pretending to be a "Grassroots party of the People" the majority of which it routinely ignores the "Sovereign will of" whenever it likes ? (make beleive or what ?)

Does a Political Party that has clearly deliberately falsified, misled, lied and blatently blamed Westminster time and time again for its very own clear failures truly deserve to be running this country ?   (make beleive or what ?)

Do not ever forget what this Party is doing right now or how its senior people have been behaving and treating its own citizens when it comes to next years Scottish Government elections, do not forget the concerted  attempt at dishonest manipulation of a nation for its own Political ends nor its duplicity and utter contempt it has for its own published promises, a party that continually lies to its own people does not deserve any more time in Government.
For an apt  final special "Anniversary Celebration" of the SNP's deliberate manipulative behaviour and its deliberate excessive ,  over optimististic and irresponsible prediction's made for Scottish Oil Revenues made on its own Independence Manifesto Document "Scotlands Future" while attemping to deceive a whole Nation. Click right here

Further recent information
"With today’s price of oil an independent Scotland’s fiscal deficit would be around 10 per cent of GDP (Source: Getty)
The first anniversary of the Scottish referendum on independence seems a useful point at which to take stock of the economic issues that would be facing an independent Scotland if it had voted ‘Yes’ in the referendum. There were two key strands to the Scottish National Party’s economic strategy which indicate that a Yes vote would have resulted in austerity in an independent Scotland the likes of which has been rarely seen in a developed country and which would have plunged the country into a deep depression.
The fist strand related to the price of oil. This price is central to the amount of tax revenues an independent Scotland would garner and specifically the size of its fiscal deficit. At the time of the referendum, the key assumption made by the SNP was that the price of oil would remain in the region of the then $113 per barrel which would have given an independent Scotland a fiscal deficit of around five per cent of GDP.
However, since then the price of oil has fallen precipitously and at today’s price I estimate an independent Scotland’s fiscal deficit would be around 10 per cent of GDP. With some analysts predicting that the oil price will fall further to $20, this would of course increase the deficit further
To put it into context – the current austerity programme pursued by the Conservative government across the UK would be seen as a picnic compared to the retrenchment of the state and the loss of tax base facing an independent Scotland. Since the government of an independent Scotland would in all probability have to monetize its debt this would add an extra layer of pain.
